Puget Sound View Remodel
This Puget Sound residence was reimagined to better support the way its owners live, centered around gathering, connection, and shared experience. Originally organized as a series of separate rooms, the home lacked the openness needed for hosting family and friends.
The remodel focused on creating a more cohesive and functional main living space while maintaining clear zones for daily use. Walls were removed to open the kitchen, dining, and living areas, allowing light and views to move freely throughout the home. From every primary space, sightlines now extend toward the water, ensuring the Puget Sound remains a constant presence in daily life.
Supporting spaces were thoughtfully reworked to improve functionality. Pantry cabinetry was integrated along the connection between the kitchen and garage, maximizing storage without disrupting flow. The laundry room was reconfigured to better serve the needs of the household, balancing efficiency with organization.
Material and finish selections were intentionally chosen to create a lighter, more unified interior. The result is a space that feels both calm and elevated, where natural light, water views, and everyday living come together seamlessly.
Rather than simply opening the floor plan, this project refined how each space is used, creating a home that feels intuitive, connected, and well-suited for gathering. The result is a thoughtfully updated residence that balances clarity, function, and warmth, designed to support both everyday living and meaningful time spent with others.
