The Mercer Island Remodel was designed to support a growing family while strengthening the home’s connection to both indoor and outdoor living. The existing house needed additional bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a reimagined kitchen and family room that could better accommodate everyday life and entertaining.

The remodel focused on improving flow and functionality, opening key living spaces toward the backyard to create a more connected and inviting environment. Expanded interior spaces now support gatherings of all sizes, while maintaining a comfortable rhythm for daily family life.

One of the project’s defining challenges was creating a more dynamic and welcoming entry without removing the existing garage. Through careful planning and thoughtful design, the entry was reshaped to feel intentional and engaging, enhancing both the experience of arrival and the overall presence of the home.
