The team agreed that a Cape Cod beach house in the Shingle-style would best represent both coasts. The placement of the home and use of key elements respond to our Northwest climate. We nestled the home into an existing berm to mitigate against high winter winds and driving rain, and we chose durable materials and designed a wrap-around porch to give wind protection and shade from the summer sun.
