These satisfied return-clients asked us to work with them to design their home on a little piece of paradise in the San Juans. Surrounded by more than 220 degrees of water, the site offers spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains, British Columbia and the Puget Sound. The owners wanted a warm contemporary home that maximized enjoyment of the views & showcased their unique collection of Asian art and artifacts. They also wanted to be able to enjoy the house either alone or with a large group of guests. The placement of windows & the ridge skylight help differentiate spaces and frame views in the elegant open floor plan. The steel fireplace is a dramatic focal point which separates the entry vestibule & private quarters from the main entertainment area. And our clients are able to relax, entertain, or relish in their inspiring views from every room in the home.
