ecco was given the task of creating an inspiring stand-alone workshop space on a site with plentiful trees and rock outcroppings.

A barn conversion seemed the appropriate architectural language to fit the site and easily encompass the requested spaces: a workshop, an art studio, storage, a place to dry firewood, and parking. Our clients were pleased with the placement of the workshop as it wove together the indoor and outdoor spaces of the main house & the new structure.

The result is a spacious, well-equipped workshop nestled in the woods along a river, with views of the treetops from the loft above.
